Some evenings stay with you. On Friday 15 and Saturday 16 May, our Sondrio boutique filled with familiar faces, smiles and the clink of glasses for A Sparkling Night with Marco Gerbella: two evenings devoted to one of the most admired names in contemporary Italian jewellery, with the artist himself in attendance.
Over an aperitivo and a little good music, we introduced the full world of Marco Gerbella, guiding our guests through his creations one piece at a time. And as so often happens when a piece of jewellery catches the eye of the right person, it became far more than an exhibition, it was a moment of genuine beauty.
Marco Gerbella: goldsmithing born between water and gold
Founded in Ravenna in 1993, Marco Gerbella was born of its founder's passion and expertise, honed over years spent alongside some of Italy's finest goldsmiths. A year later came the atelier, where time-honoured craftsmanship met innovation to create pieces in 18kt gold set with precious stones.
The brand draws its inspiration from two elements that define Ravenna: the gold of its Byzantine mosaics and the water of the sea. From their meeting come pieces that are minimal in design yet rich in meaning jewellery made to be lived in rather than locked away, the mark of an everyday elegance, effortless and light, that accompanies your every gesture.

Across the two evenings, the spotlight fell on some of the brand's most defining creations, the ones we have chosen for our boutiques.
Piccole Gioie. Launched in 2014, this collection redefined what a piece of jewellery could be: hearts, signets and small forms in 18kt gold and diamonds, made to be worn every day, alone or layered in endless combinations. A delicate language, instantly recognisable.
Cuore. The interwoven hearts that have become Marco Gerbella's signature, in gold and diamonds. A simple symbol, able to speak of a bond without a single word.
Toi&Moi. The most precious of the new arrivals, created for those seeking fine jewellery of the highest order: love squared, told through two elements that meet. A piece that carries the Gerbella signature into an even more refined register.
